Free CV Check

When applying for jobs its often disheartening to get no responses or feedback. There could be many reasons for this such as competition, posts being filled, or the number of applicants applying for just the one role. The most common reason is normally the standard of CV. Its only when working in recruitment that the differing standards can be seen. Rather than being in the dark about the standard of your CV, simply email us a copy and we will take a look for you. This is a free no obligation service. We will reply with positive points on how it can be improved and modified and give you feedback on how an employer might view it. As always please give us a call or email if you have any questions.

Interview Advice

When your CV is successful in getting you an interview we have tips and advice on how to prepare.

Research

Always research the company you are to attend. Have a good look around their website and get to know them. Its not just about remembering facts and dates; take an interest in areas they are interested in.

Questions

Prepare for possible questions. Why should I hire you? What are your strengths and weaknesses? Where do you see yourself in 5 years time? Also remember to ask questions as well. Its also good to clarify the salary offered and an interviewer would expect this.

First Impressions

First impressions count. Its nice to start with a smile. Appearance is also important in creating a professional image. Also this is helped further by focusing beforehand on the interview and planning travel well ahead. Use street maps to take a look around well in advance of your journey so you know where to park or how to commute there,

Keep positive

Try and maintain an upbeat and positive interview. Remember an interview is a two way process, Its not just about them hiring you. Its also about you wanting to work for them as well. If you consider it a two way process this often helps to be less nervous and create a positive interview.

We encourage you to either email or call us if you have any questions or concerns with regards your career. Advice is free and we are here to help.
